Overview

PIL plays a key role in forging African development through investment facilitatation as a compliment to governments efforts to investment promotion. Actions include alleviation of ground level or operational obstacles to investment and growth.

Advisory Services: Pineland offers advisory services through its Business Investment Facilitation (through Investors Service Center), providing information on sources of capital and facilitating matching investment. Business Investment Facilitation: PIL's Investors Service Center aimed to secure that investments flow efficiently for the greatest benefit of the investors. Its menu for investment facilitation includes the following:

• Making available information in various sectors and subsectors of the economy.
• Making available information on country specific investment policies, regulations and procedures in all sectors relevant to the investors.
• Providing information on predictability and consistency in application of policies and procedures to enable investors to include prospective changes in their investment planning decisions.
• Facilitating compliance with policies and procedures.
• Enabling fulfilment Cross sectoral requirements (e.g. environment, gender etc.): policies and procedures.
• Sample Texts for investment agreements: Government, different private subsectors.
• Knowledge gathering on private sector trends through engagement in investment knowledge (knowledge) platforms.
• Lobby government for good investment climate through dialogue platforms Capital Raising and Matching Investment Opportunities are already clear. Need for clear and elaborated menus which will enable easy readability PIL needs to build capacity for drawing up service contracts for the different pieces on the menu for easy quotations and billing.
